Meet Giovanni

Meow! Hi, my name is Giovanni and I’m an EXTREMELY sweet little boy. I was born in January of 2019, and although I’m small, I have a HUGE playful and cuddly personality.

Recently, a Denton County control officer picked me up and brought me to the Denton Shelter. Two kind Animal Allies of Texas volunteers dropped by and spotted me in the cages, held me, and it was love at first sight! They also rescued Snuggles. The volunteers were so pleased to see how well I adjusted to my temporary home at the PETCO store in Highland Village. I enjoy meeting new people to play with – men, women, children. I haven’t met a dog yet, but if they’re respectful and cuddly, I will be their buddy, too. When you pick me up, my purr motor starts running – especially after a tasty meal and playtime. One of the volunteers calls me her “cuddlebug.”

One day soon, I hope to find a forever family who will give me all the love and attention that I need. My foster family wants you to know that I will need a home with lots of playtime and bonding. If you’re that special family who is looking for a kitten like me, please complete an online application and ask for me – GIOVANNI. A compassionate volunteer will contact you to arrange for a play date.

By the way, if you or someone you know would like to make a huge difference in saving cats’ and dogs’ lives, please consider becoming a foster parent. I know of several cats who need temporary homes where they can feel more comfortable getting used to families and pets before they go to their forever homes.
